About Us
The Glen Oaks church of Christ is a group of Christians devoted to God who are spreading the good news of Jesus Christ in Morgantown, WV. We are motivated to serve God each day of our lives and help our community understand that Christ died so sinners might have life. Our faith in an all-wise God, evidenced by His inspired Word the Bible, moves us to follow Jesus and do exactly what God would have His church do.
What Must I Do?
Searching God’s inspired Word, the Bible, we can determine the things He wishes us to do so that we may be forgiven our sins (violations of God’s law) and able to share an eternal home in heaven with Him at the end of time. Because of the sin which entered the world, man has become separated from God and unworthy of heaven. Our salvation from this separation is possible only due to the unjust death of Jesus Christ over 2,000 years ago, and His resurrection from the dead.
